Broccoli: Broccoli, that intensely green vegetable with tiny little florets that look like little trees, is basically a man-made vegetable. Broccoli was invented by breeding a combination

of different types of cabbages together, using only the best seeds. It is a fast growing plant – growing up to 90 cm tall! Broccoli also prefers moderate to cool temperature for best growing results making it the perfect vegetable to grow in Alberta!

I

It is a popular vegetable that can be consumed both raw and cooked. It tastes delicious no matter what dish you add it to, whether it's pasta, soup or stir fry!
