1 cup milk
1 cup cream
2 - 3 trays of ice cubes
1/3 cup salt
flavouring (choose your favourite from the chart below!)
Resealable bags, large and small
Mix together milk, cream, and flavouring. Put the mixture in the smaller plastic bag, and seal it shut.
Put around half the ice and salt in the larger plastic bag. Then, place the smaller bag inside the larger bag. Add the remaining ice to the bag so that the smaller bag is completely covered. Seal the large plastic bag.
Wrap the bag in a dish towel, and shake for five to ten minutes. Do this outside or over a sink, just in case the bag starts to drip!
After five to ten minutes, remove the smaller plastic bag. Scoop out the ice cream, and top with your favourite toppings!
