Our Virtual Farm School program showcases different farmers and ranchers across Alberta. The goal is for students to see how diverse Alberta agriculture is through a series of virtual visits to the farm.

The program is available to Alberta K-6 teachers and their class/es.

HOW IT WORKS: 

​

• Dates are selected throughout the school year for the farm or ranch tour. 

• Teachers are sent an access link for the live visit the day prior to the scheduled date. Recordings will be available. 

• Student questions are encouraged and can be submitted via the chat function on the platform. 

• The visit is approx.15-30 minutes pending student engagement. 

• Visits are weather dependent and will be rescheduled if needed to ensure a fulsome experience for students.

• Teachers will be asked to complete a short survey following the event.
