Ever been driving through rural Alberta and think to yourself..."I wonder what's in that field" ?
Alberta agriculture embodies what’s great about our rural communities, our province and our country. Golden fields of wheat is the first thought that comes to mind when most people think of Alberta agriculture, but there’s more to Alberta than just wheat and cattle.
Alberta has one of the world's most productive agricultural
economies and over 70 thousand farmers making it Canada's 2nd largest agricultural producer. But most of us still think, "what's in the field" as we drive through the province.
WE WANT TO SEE WHAT'S GROWING IN YOUR FIELD!
Send us your images below and tell us what you are growing and we will share your photos on our website and social media.
Agriculture is a staple industry in Alberta and although canola, wheat and barley are the primary crops grown, there are several other crops growing in the fields. Most Albertans are curious as to what farmers are growing in their fields..so why not show them!?
