Channel Your Flannel

When the leaves start to fall and the temperatures start to drop below zero, there’s no article of clothing that’s as omnipresent as the flannel shirt. They're warm, soft and comfortable yet rustic and rugged all at once.

Flannel can be traced back to the 17th century, where farmers wore flannel shirts to protect themselves from the elements. This tradition has continued to grow in popularity most likely due to flannel’s longevity, affordability and warmth, making it the perfect attire for Alberta farmers.

Submit a photo of you, or someone else, wearing fine Farmer Flannel and you could win a warm his and her flannel gift pack provided by UFA Co-operative Limited.
