ELEMENTARY
​The Spuds in Tubs Farm to School Program is designed to connect students with their local food system and help them develop a deeper appreciation for where their food comes from.
​
Your students will learn about plant biology, soil health and sustainable food production while growing delicious potatoes in tubs.
The program is for students in grades 3–9.

Agriculture Discovery Day brings the Ag for Life team to your school for an engaging, hands-on presentation tailored to your students’ needs. Students will explore agriculture’s role in our daily lives through interactive activities and discussions on topics like sustainable farming, food production and career opportunities in agriculture.
Seed Survivor is a free, curriculum-based program for Grades 1–6 (ideal for Grades 3–4) that teaches students what plants need to grow.
A 36-foot trailer visits schools within an hour of Calgary, featuring interactive stations, VR games, and outdoor lessons. Students explore agriculture, plant a sunflower seed to take home, and learn where their food comes from. Registration is now open.

Our Ag for Life event, completely free of charge, offers 2–3 hours of interactive sessions in your gym or classrooms. Our safety experts and volunteers are dedicated to equipping students with crucial knowledge and skills for staying safe in rural environments.
