Youth Advisory Council
Ag for Life's Youth Advisory Council is made up of Alberta youth, ages 15–23, who are looking to make a difference in the Alberta agriculture community.
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR 2021.
The Youth Advisory Council provides insight and ideas on the types of programs and agriculture related topics that will resonate among youth in Alberta. The Council also provides the opportunity to participate in skills development seminars including networking opportunities with Ag for Life partners.
Commitment to the council includes:
Four virtual meetings per year.
Communication once per month via email for feedback on programming, digital media, and offerings for youth.
Virtual skills development seminars held monthly, separate from any meetings on various topics, and will be optional.
Council member term is one year with an option of extension.
