Grow a Gratitude Garden

Grow your very own gratitude garden and watch the good things in your life flourish! This craft is a simple and fun way to reflect on all that you have.

Materials:

  • Construction paper

  • Scissors

  • Pipecleaner

  • Glue

  • Pencil

  • Marker

Instructions:

  1. Draw a flower on construction paper. Make sure the petals are big enough to write on.

  2. Cut out the flower.

  3. On each petal, write something that you are grateful for. This could be things like your parents, your pet, or your toys! If you need help, try thinking of all the things you enjoy doing and the people you love.

  4. Glue the pipe cleaner to the flower to make a stem. Let the glue dry.

  5. The more flowers you make, the bigger your garden will be!

Parents: Alternatively, print out the template below and have your child colour in the flower and write what they are grateful for. This makes for a mess-free, super quick version of the craft.
